Abstract: Introduction Child feeding applications concern the content and methodology of feeding children. The feeding process results from the mutual relationship and interaction between the child and the parent, with both actively participating. Mismanaged feeding can have negative implications for both the parent and child. This study aims to investigate the connection between maternal attitudes during feeding and the frequency of media use during feeding, and the factors influencing them. Material and method This study was a cross-sectional online survey carried out in Istanbul, Turkey. We utilized a convenient sampling method, selecting parents of children aged 9-72 months to participate randomly. We additionally recruited more participants through referrals from the initial participants. The survey was administered to participants through Google Forms online. It contained three forms, namely, a socio-demographic data form, the Mother's Attitudes Towards the Feeding Process Scale (MATFPS), and a media usage form during feeding. The participants were provided with information about the study, the consent forms, and the purpose of the study through online means. Participation was voluntary and did not involve any personal data collection. Results The mean score of participating mothers' responses to the Nutrition Process Mother Attitudes Scale was 63.28±15.98. The scale consists of 5 factors. The mean score for the factor negative mood during meals was 13.98±5.39, while the score for attitude to inadequate or unbalanced nutrition was 24.63±7.23. The mean scores for negative feeding strategies and forceful feeding were 10.53±3.53 and 4.97±1.74, respectively. The mean score for reaction to others' opinions was 9.8±3.25. A total of 105 mothers (69.1%) reported using media tools while their children were being fed. Media use during feeding was found to be 3.51 times more frequent among mothers who perceived their children to have a feeding problem. Conclusion Healthy eating is not solely determined by the quantity and quality of food that children consume. It is also important to consider the emotional experiences of mothers during the feeding process and their potential use of maladaptive feeding strategies to overcome any difficulties encountered. It is also important to consider the emotional experiences of mothers during the feeding process and their potential use of maladaptive feeding strategies to overcome any difficulties encountered. Therefore, exploring a mother's attitudes, reactions, emotions, beliefs and strategies when feeding her child can provide valuable insights into promoting healthy eating behaviours. Negative emotions and thoughts experienced by mothers during the feeding process may be linked to increased media use. Furthermore, media use may be a coping mechanism for dealing with negative emotions. Hence, it is crucial to conduct more comprehensive studies that investigate the correlation between the challenges in the feeding process and media usage, establishing a causal relationship.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the levels of intolerance of uncertainty and aggression among students studying at the Faculty of Sports Sciences. The research included 300 randomly selected students who voluntarily participated from Erciyes University Faculty of Sports Sciences. The data collection tools used in the study were the Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale, developed by Carleton et al. (2007) and adapted to Turkish by Sarıçam et al. (2014), the Buss Perry Aggression Scale, adapted to Turkish by Madran (2013) based on Buss and Perry's Hostility Inventory (1992), and a personal information form prepared by the researcher. The statistical analyses of the data were performed using the SPSS 20.0 software package. Personal information about the candidates, inventory total scores, and factor scores were presented in terms of frequency (f) and percentage (%). For the comparison of scores obtained from the scales, independent T-test statistics were used to examine the differences based on gender and being an active athlete. One-way analysis of variance (LSD) test statistic was used for the comparison of levels of well-being. As a result, significant differences were found in the variables of being an active athlete and the level of well-being among the students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, while no significant difference was found in terms of gender. Additionally, when examining the correlation and regression results, a positive significant relationship was found between intolerance of uncertainty values and levels of aggression, which accounted for 17.6% of the total variance. It was concluded that intolerance of uncertainty is a value that can affect students' social lives. Uncertain situations encountered in students' social lives can increase their levels of anger, hostility, and aggression, leading to negative impacts on their experiences.

Abstract: The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the meaning of leisure for health maintenance and life satisfaction in adults. The study consists of 361 adult individuals residing in Istanbul province who were determined by convenience sampling method. In addition to "Personal Information Form" (gender, age, marital status), "Meaning of Leisure Scale" and Life Satisfaction Scale were utilized as data collection tools. In the study, parametric analyzes were utilized as a result of skewness and kurtosis values T-test and Anova. The LSD test was employed as a post-hoc analysis to determine the difference between the groups. Pearson Correlation Analysis was conducted to determine the relationship between leisure meaning and life satisfaction. In the light of the findings, significant differences were observed in the life satisfaction scale according to gender variables. However, no significant difference was encountered in the life satisfaction scale according to age and marital status variables. In the leisure meaning scale, significant differences were encountered in the sub-dimensions of leisure utilization, perceived freedom, goal orientation and work relationship according to gender variables, but not in other sub-dimensions. According to the age variable, a significant difference was detected in the perceived competence, goal orientation and work relationship sub-dimensions of the leisure meaning scale, but no significant difference was detected in other sub-dimensions. According to the marital status variable, no significant difference was detected in the meaning of leisure scale. It was determined that there was a positive and weakly significant relationship between the sub-dimensions of the meaning of leisure scale and the life satisfaction scale. As a result, it can be stated that there is a positive relationship between the meaning of leisure and life satisfaction. It can be explained that life satisfaction can be positively affected by the activities that individuals will participate in by adopting the meaning of leisure, taking into account the importance and value of leisure, and that it is also significant for the maintenance of health.

Abstract: As a predictive tool, the Functional Movement Screen (FMSTM) has construct validity for identifying athletes at high risk of injury. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship among functional movement screen measurements, injury history and body composition in elite male handball players. This study included 18 handball players who play for the Turkish National Senior Men's Handball Team. Those who met the study criteria completed a questionnaire regarding their injury history and underwent body composition measurements and the Functional Movement Screen (FMSâ„¢) test. The results of our study revealed no significant correlation between FMS scores of right and left movements and low body fat percentage in handball players. However, a negative correlation was observed between body fat percentage and total FMSTM score, as well as a positive correlation between body fat percentage and lower extremity muscle injuries. Furthermore, a negative correlation was found between body fat percentage and the score of the right active straight leg raise. Negative correlations were also identified between left hurdle step and injury recurrence, right in-line lunge and lower extremity bone injuries, and right rotary stability and history of injuries. On the other hand, a positive correlation was observed between straight leg raise and lower extremity joint injuries. As a result, this study found a weak correlation between FMS score and body fat percentage in handball players, and a strong relationship between FMS score and injury history.
