Abstract:
This investigation aims at examining cultural circumcision as practised by Xhosa-speaking South Africans who predominantly live in the Eastern Cape Province. This practice is based on an indigenous culture in South Africa; as in fact; it is in other parts of Africa. Suh practice has been rather controversial. This Paper aims at examining in details what operationally occurs when it is administered to the Xhosa speaking South African.
