Ponte - Jul 2016 - Volume 72 - Issue 7 doi: 10.21506/j.ponte.2016.7.31 Abstract: This paper briefly explained the derivation and the characterization of a non-linear computational algorithm which was used to solve some initial value problems of ordinary differential equations. A straight forward breakdown of this new algorithm is presented. Our subsequent research shall examine the characteristics of the algorithm which are: consistency, convergence and stability. We shall as well look into the implementation of this new algorithm and comparison will be done with some other existing methods
