In the article authors examine the functions of graphicly-expressive facilities in heroic epos of the Kazakh people. Heroic epos reflects the real historical events frequently, contains the elements of fantasy and realism, abundance of domestic details and deep psychological supervisions. In the Kazakh heroic epos, along with a keen plot, mastery of creation of characters striking, description of experiencing of heroes riches of language of the Kazakh epos are this first of all riches of expressive and vivid turns, well-aimed and winged words, that the metaphorical and hiperbolicity is characteristic for an epos.
