Ponte - Jul 2018 - Volume 74 - Issue 7 doi: 10.21506/j.ponte.2018.7.2 Abstract: The article presents a change in the functional role of a person (employee) in production, depending on the type of technological structure. The authors define the specifics of human capital management with an emphasis on the creative abilities of the employee, which is largely associated with the presence of explicit and implicit knowledge. Based on the results of the Gap-analysis of existing methodological approaches to human capital management, the basic methodological provisions that meet the requirements of innovative development were formulated. A theoretical matrix of basic scenarios, which is original, is proposed. The methodology of empirical research of human capital management is developed. The scientific hypothesis is formulated and proved. Based on the conducted research the key moments in human capital management for the increase of innovative activity of the Russian economy are determined.
