ACOUSTICAL PARAMETERS IN BINARY LIQUID MIXTURES CONTAINING GLYCEROL AND ETHANOL AT FIVE DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES T=(298.15,303.15,308.15,313.15 AND 318.15)K Author(s): S.M.IBRAHIM ,S.SREEHARI SASTRY J. Ponte - Aug 2019 - Volume 75 - Issue 8 doi: 10.21506/j.ponte.2019.8.1 Abstract: Ultrasonic velocities, densities and viscosities have been measured in binary liquid mixture containing glycerol and Ethanol over the entire molefraction range of glycerol at temperatures T=(298.15,303.15,308.15,313.15 and 318.15)K. From experimentally measured data of ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity, thermo-acoustical parameters such as adiabatic compressibility(?), intermolecular freelength(Lf), acoustical impedance(Z) and internal pressure(?) have been calculated. These results have been explained in terms of molecular interactions.
