Ponte - Dec 2017 - Volume 73 - Issue 12 doi: 10.21506/j.ponte.2017.12.40 Abstract: In Belgorod State Agricultural University selective work on creation of highly productive varieties of winter and spring wheat was conducted, characterized by high grain quality that meets the requirements of modern agricultural production. Selective material was obtained in the links of the selection process scheme. Selection is conducted according to standard techniques. During many years of selective work the lines of hard and soft spring wheat and soft winter wheat with a gluten content below 30 % and protein not less than 15.0 % were obtained.
