Abstract:
Since long ago, tribe or Arab Family has been migration to Indonesia. They became known as the Arab tribe of Indonesia. Arab tribes in Indonesia is the Indonesian population that has ethnic Arab and ethnic descent native of Indonesia. At first they generally live in Arab villages are scattered in various cities in Indonesia. In the Dutch colonial era, they are regarded as foreign Asian nation along with the Indonesian ethnic Chinese and ethnic-Indian-Indonesian. But as the ethnic Chinese and Indian, not a few of the Arab-Indonesia to help Indonesia\\\\\\\'s independence struggle. Assimilation Arab families with indigenous peoples run almost not cause problems in a pluralistic Indonesian society.In addition, since time immemorial have been many in the Arab descent who plays a role in development.Arab family in Indonesia\\\\\\\'s pluralistic society would experience challenges in strengthening their identity in the process of development in Indonesia. This paper will explore how the dynamics of Arab descent remain consistent in their identity in addition to continue to play a role in the development of Indonesia is a pluralistic society?. What are the areas that they are doing in that development? What are the problems of the dynamics of Arab Family in Indonesia?. \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nKeywords: Arab family, Indonesian Development, identity
