Abstract:
This given research paper is dedicated to an analytical overview of the external political strat-egy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the framework of regional economic integration in rela-tion to the Central Asian region, historically which was called Turkestan and composed by itself the Turkic-speaking countries such as Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan, as well as the only non-Turkic country appeared to be- Tajikistan. The authors identify the peri-od of formation and several related periods in the development of Kazakhstan's integration strategy in region of Central Asia. The general trend in the development of Kazakhstan's ex-ternal political strategy in the framework of Central Asian integration is to move from multi-lateral international legal mechanisms for bilateral cooperation ones. However, according to the authors’ view there are some specific regional issues in Central Asia, which lead these mechanisms not to happen in the future without multilateral cooperation.
