Ponte - Dec 2016 - Volume 72 - Issue 12 doi: 10.21506/j.ponte.2016.12.47 Abstract: Dagestan has a warm Caspian sea, many of the Delta lagoons and lakes, lakes and reservoirs in the mountains, mountain rivers and trout streams. This is one of the most promising objects of fishing tourism in Russia. Like other types of tourism, organized by the sport fishing ensures the growth of tax revenues in rural areas, there is the development of related economic activities, smooths out the seasonal fluctuations in rural employment. However, the development of fishing tourism, together with existing industrial and illegal fishing activity � is an additional pressure on fish stocks, especially in such a unique natural reserve of the Delta of the rivers Kuma, Terek, Sulak and Samur. Therefore it is necessary to provide for the formation of such mechanisms of management in Dagestan, which would ensure the interest of owners of fishing bases in the replenishment of fish stocks. High yield sports-fishing business must be a factor of construction investment and increasing the competitiveness of fish-breeding enterprises of Dagestan. In the article special attention is paid to the formation of local and regional tourist and agricultural clusters. Economic-geographical zoning of the territory for the development of fishing tourism is based on the basin principle. This allows you to talk about creating a fishing-conveyors from sea to high mountains.
