EVALUATION OF STUDENT VIEWS ON A MODULE TEACHING PROGRAM APPLIED IN THE GRAPHICS, PHOTOS AND PRINTING AREA

Abstract:
The aim of this research is to evaluate a Modular Teaching Program applied in the Graphic, Photography and Printing fields in the vocational high schools affiliated to Vocational Technical Education Department in the scope of the Vocational Technical Education Construction Project with the support of Vocational Education Development Project modules. The universe of the research consists of 155 graphic, photography and print field students in three schools affiliated with the Vocational Technical Education Department in the 2015-2016 academic year. The data obtained in the research were collected by using the "Evaluation of Modular Instruction Program" student scale and analyzed using appropriate statistical techniques in accordance with the opinions of statistical experts using the quantitative data collection method and the data obtained as a result of the analysis were explained by creating charts. In the research, it has been determined that the Graphic, Photography and Printing field students were partially positive for the general sub-dimensions in the modular curriculum. It has been determined that the modular curriculum has not been fully implemented and that the students are missing facets of the partially applied modular curriculum. It was also found that the students did not participate in the modular teaching program to a great extent according to the opinions expressed related to the purpose, content, learning-teaching and measurement and evaluation dimensions.
