Architectural design is a problem solving process based on "form", "function" and "construction". During this process, physical factors like location, topography, pattern, climate as well as cultural factors like social, economical, political, historical, aesthetics and technological factors like science, technology, etc. should be considered for creating functional and sustainable built environments. A total number of 70 undergraduate architecture students from seven project studios at different levels were asked about their priorities on physical, cultural and technological factors in designing their projects. The analysis of the data showed the differences in priorities of the students according to their levels. During the survey, students’ personal approaches on architectural design was also evaluated in relation to their environmental awareness.
