A METHOD OF INCREASING THE VOLUME OF COLLECTOR-DRAINAGE WATER USAGE FOR IRRIGATION Author(s): R.K. Bekbayev ,N.N. Balgabayev, E.D. Zhaparkulova, N.R. Bekbayev J. Ponte - Dec 2016 - Volume 72 - Issue 12 doi: 10.21506/j.ponte.2016.12.53 Abstract: The aim of research is the use of collector-drainage water for irrigation and improvement of water availability of irrigated land. It was found that when using the collector-drainage water for irrigation occur soil salinization. To reduce the speed of the process of salinization of soil, collector-drainage water was diluted with fresh water. This method is provided an increase in the share of collector-drainage water in irrigation norm. When mineralization of collector - drainage water 1.2-1.9 g/l, their share was 85%, with mineralization 2.6-3.6 g/l - 69.3% and 4,8-5,3 g/l - 38.5% of the irrigation rate.
Key words: irrigation, deficit, mineralization, salinity, collector-drainage water.
