STUDY OF ACOUSTICAL PARAMETERS IN BINARY LIQUID MIXTURES CONTAINING ETHYLENE GLYCOL AND ETHANOL AT DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES

Abstract:
Densities ,Ultrasonic velocities and Viscosities have been measured in binary liquid mixture containing ethylene glycol and Ethanol over the entire molefraction range at temperatures T=(298.15,303.15,308.15,313.15 and 318.15)K. From experimentally measured data of ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity, thermo-acoustical parameters such as adiabatic compressibility(?), intermolecular freelength(Lf) and acoustical impedance(Z) have been calculated. These results have been explained in terms of molecular interactions.
