Ponte - Jul 2021 - Volume 77 - Issue 7 doi: 10.21506/j.ponte.2021.7.9 Abstract: Diversity in the organizational environment encompasses all forms of differences amongst individuals, including gender, age, ability, religious affiliation, personality, economic class, social status, educational background, and sexual orientation. The aim of this research article is to determine the relationship between diversity management and organizational citizenship behavior amongst employees at University X. This study adopted a qualitative approach using semi-structured interviews and observation. The participants were aware of the effects of diversity management on organizational citizenship behavior. The University had a policy which embraces diversity within employees. It was also discovered that the University lack effective measures that can be used to implement policies embracing diversity amongst employees (main campus). There is a need for diversity awareness programs aimed for University X employees to be implemented.
