Abstract:
The research addresses the study of a fire fighting robot designed for automatic control of the fire monitor. The basic modes and requirements for the fire monitor of the fire fighting robot mounted on the vehicle are defined. A power converter based on individual autonomous voltage inverters is chosen for each servo drive. A multiloop system of subordinate regulation is used to perform high-quality control of electric drive coordinates. It is shown that the displacement of all mechanisms of the fire fighting robot is to be limited. Experimental studies of the operation of the fire fighting robot servo drive are carried out; the dynamic characteristics of the studied object are obtained. Recommendations on qualitative and quantitative indicators of the transient processes for the investigated electric drive are given based on the analysis of the obtained results.
