Ponte - May 2017 - Volume 73 - Issue 5 doi: 10.21506/j.ponte.2017.5.32 Abstract: In this paper we present the results of the research entitled “The testimony of adolescents in semi-liberty”. A work done with young Brazilian people involved in crime who find themselves in a governmental device as a consequence of having committed an infraction. Our listening was guided by the Clinic of Testimony, that aims to listen to stories circumscribed in traumatic scenes, providing an environment conducive to a work of memory that contemplates traces of collective representation. We present the stories of two young men who locate the death of the paternal figure as a nodal point for their involvement in crime. The work presented points us to a need to expand the availability of listening spaces in order to allow for a contingent of individuals in situations of social invisibility to have their own voice.
