In the present research, how the ring culture in kickboxing is produced on the basis of the gender regime will be analyzed with a qualitative research approach. The data of the study were collected through in-depth individual interviews with 4 female and 4 male national athletes determined by criterion sampling method. The data were analyzed with thematic analysis method. According to the findings of the research, certain values that constitute the culture of the ring such as being in the ring, the totem of the ring, knocking out, and being knocked out have similar meanings for all athletes. On the other hand, the gendering of certain practices in the ring causes different experiences for female and male athletes. As a result, values and practices such as patriarchal gender relations, sexism, hegemonic masculinity, and normative femininity, and the gendering of the body are prominent in the gender regime of kickboxing.
