EVALUATION OF THE KNOWLEDGE LEVELS OF SPORT FACULTY STUDENTS ABOUT SAFE DRUG APPLICATIONS

Abstract:
According to the World Health Organisation medicines; pathological or physiological status of the user for the benefit of recipients used to change or review-investigation or is expressed in the form of the recommended products. Rational Drug Use are listed as follows in elements of doctrine. 1-What is the problem of the patient should be placed in the right way, the patient in the eyes of other physiological or biological properties. 2- The purpose of the treatment should be clear. 3- The appropriate drug must be chosen. This determines the suitability criteria are effectiveness, safety, compliance and cost. Non-drugs safe and effective release elapses. Eligibility criterion is not the doctor's disease by focusing on patient decision making. Cost is not the cost of the treatment of the drug in rational drug use. 4- Controling and monitoring still constitutes an important stage of the rational use of drugs. The aim of this study was to evaluate the use of rational drug use sports school students. This cross-sectional study was conducted among Faculty of Sport Sciences students� of Istanbul University between October and December 2016. The data used in this study were obtained through a self-administered questionnaire with 28 items to determine participants� socio-demographic characteristics, their knowledge, attitude and behaviour towards Safe drug applications. Use medication without consulting a doctor and taking health education courses were found for statistically significant (p<0.05).
