Abstract:
This article deals with the achievements in the sphere of literary criticism connected with the new stage of independence of Azerbaijan. So that in the period of independence the pearls of the world literature, as well as those of the Russian literature not yet translated into Azerbaijani were translated into Azerbaijani for the first time and published in Latin alphabet in conformity with the decrees and instructions of the government. As a result, the works of F.M. Dostoyevsky have begun to be read with a new breath. They have been subjected to studies and become the object of translations. This article studies the new translations of this realist writer into Azerbaijani, the forewords and introductions written to them, which deal with the peculiarities of the writer in them
