Recursion operators and hierarchies of evolution partial differential equations have been well-established for the past forty years. An algorithm to calculate recursion operators may be found in \cite{Bluman a}. Recently sequences of ordinary differential equations were introduced which were investigated in terms of it's symmetry and singularity properties. We analyse the sequence in this paper in terms of it's Lie point symmetries and the possession of a complete symmetry group.
