Ponte - Oct 2017 - Volume 73 - Issue 10 doi: 10.21506/j.ponte.2017.10.36 Abstract: The main goal of Islamic propagation is to ask for people towards Islamic belief and accepting Islam as their way of life. This research aims to identify the perception of Preachers of Indigenous Community�s readiness, self attitude and motivation, convenience infrastructures, dacwah challenges and approaches in relation to dacwah towards the Indigenous community. In this study, a quantitative methodology research was applied which include a survey of a set of questionnaires with the total number of respondents of 120 people in Malaysia and the data were analyzed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) for Windows version 22. The result shows that PIC has enough preparedness in the context of implementing dacwah towards the Indigenous which is at high level with a mean value of 3.98. PIC motivation lies at very high levels with a mean score of 4.24. Regarding the PIC�s convenience infrastructure in the Indigenous villages is at high level with a total mean value of 3.46. However, dacwah challenges shows a moderate level of scores with a total average mean 3.32 and dacwah approaches is extremely high level with a mean value 4.24.
