Abstract:
The aim of this investigation was to explore the existence of Inclusive Education in South Africa and other parts of the world, where Inclusive Education is offered. Inclusive Education holds the view that all children should have equal opportunity in their education. This is meant that the so called normal children should attend school together with those who in the past were confined to schools for special needs children. This being a new idea at the time; it was rather a controversial matter in most communities. This Paper examines such controversy and how it has been handled to convince all those concerned. The resist to Education continues being a reality; though some progress is being made.
