Ponte - Aug 2018 - Volume 74 - Issue 8 doi: 10.21506/j.ponte.2018.8.5 Abstract: This article proposes a new methodological approach to managing the development of industries with low innovation activity in the Russian economy. The study was conducted using statistical data of textile and clothing industry. The innovative activity of the textile and garment industry is only 7%. The authors assessed the external factors influencing the innovation activity of enterprises of the textile and garment industry. The correlation model is constructed and the actual main factors influencing innovative activity of the enterprises are revealed. Built a regression model of the dependence of the level of innovation activity of enterprises of the textile and garment industry from the changes of external factors in the dynamics from 2005 to 2014. Built four versions of the script of changes of specific weight of innovative enterprises in the total number of enterprises of the textile and garment industry.
