The purpose of this study is to analyze the economic level of the community after the implementation of the Regulation of the Minister of Trade No. 52/M-DAG/ PER/12/2008 on the restriction of imports. Besides this research can determine the public perception on the enactment of these regulations have a significant impact on people's income Tanjung Balai. The dependent variable of this study is the economic level of the community, while the independent variables used are regulation, exports and imports were analyzed with the primary data. For the executive government of Tanjung Balai, the results of this study as a material consideration or input in determining appropriate policies to develop the region Teluk Nibung in order to contribute to the economy of Tanjung Balai Society.
