Abstract:
The article examines the philosophical foundations of the spiritual and moral culture of Gennady Nikandrovich Volkov. Gennady Volkov was Academician of the Russian Academy of Education and the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, “spiritual and moral authority”. He scientifically substantiated the new direction of pedagogy as an ethnic pedagogy, which is the basis of a national-regional, ethno-cultural education. The results of the scientific work of Professor Volkov have a great influence on the development of the culture of the peoples of the Russian Federation. He began to write his works on the revival, preservation and development of folk pedagogy, ethno-cultural traditions at a time when all the power of the state was aimed at their destruction, the physical extermination of peoples, the formation of a non-national, anti-national community. Gennady Nikandrovich Volkov, defined the methods and means of educating children in the ethno-pedagogical pansophy system that are relevant in modern conditions. The study of the spiritual and moral culture of G.N. Volkov is determined by the fact that in modern realities there is an increase in consumer interest in life, a decrease in the spiritual and moral level of the culture of society, the fall of morality, the destruction of ethnic identity, social disadaptation of the youth. The spiritual and moral education of children is inconceivable without the use of ethno-cultural experience. Personality, scientific heritage of academician G.N. Volkov has a great influence on the formation of the personality of young people, on the further development of education and culture of peoples, the activation of genetic deterministic processes to overcome the spiritual and moral crisis.
