Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the role of the ball-pickup model on improving the quality of human resources in the village government. This research used descriptive analysis. The result of research are, Human resources are determined by four competencies, namely managerial competence, knowledge competence, technical competence and social competence. Picking up (PU) method is believed to be able to improve the competence of human resources for village officials in Pekalongan Regency. Human resource is important factor in improving effectiveness and efficiency of an organization. It could also improve integrity, initiation, intelligence, social skill, imagination power, reliability, enthusiasm, interest, and wider point of view. One of the efforts is by the latest method, the door to door method, which could improve the village apparatus� human resource to conduct their task and responsibility based on their competence.
