Ponte - Jul 2016 - Volume 72 - Issue 7 doi: 10.21506/j.ponte.2016.7.7 Abstract: The novel fused pyridine derivatives 2�8 were synthesized via the reaction of Pyridine-3,5-dicarbonitriles 1a,b with different reagents. Also, pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-amine 10 and pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine-2-thiol 11 obtain from nicotinonitrile 9 when reacted with formamide and /or phenyl isothiocyanate. Finally; 4,6-bis(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazol-2-yl)pyridin-2-amine 12 which synthesized via the reaction with ethane-1,2-diamine used as precursor for preparation of imidazo[1,2-c]pyrido[3,2-e][1,2,3]triazine 13 and imidazo[1,2-c]pyrido[3,2-e][1,2,3]triazine 14�15 All the synthesized compounds were evaluated for their Anti Proliferative Activity.
