Abstract:
This article examines the linguistic aspects of isiNguni languages. The languages considered are isiZulu, isiXhosa, siSwati and isiNdebele, as these are languages that fall under the isiNguni family of languages in the Southern Africa. The aspects to be discussed are phonetics, phonology, morphology, semantics, and pragmatics. The concepts of language and linguistics are defined in the introductory part of this discourse. The subtopics of the paper are introduction, phonetics, phonology, morphology, semantics, pragmatics and conclusion.
